About the Video content
All the Video content has been created using versions of Vectorworks from 2020 to the current release. All the Tools and Menu Commands are unmodified so what you see in the Video content should reasonably represent the capabilities of the software as of the version the content was made with. In more recent versions, some of the Tools and Commands may have had their functionality enhanced and it is also possible that some functionality has also been deprecated. If you notice anything of this nature, please get in touch using the form below.
For the most part, the Workspaces being used are either the Spotlight or Designer Workspaces. I have customised the Interactive Appearance Settings a small amount to allow for a little more clarity and also reflect my own working practice. The settings are as follows:
- Object Highlighting for Active and Preselection of Layers is set to Green.
- Object Highlighting for Inactive and Preselection of Inactive Layers is set to Red.
- Background for 3D Views and Perspective (Horizon Sky) has been set to White.
- Background for Perspective Ground (Horizon Ground)has been set to a very pale Gray.
