In the Entertainment and Events sector, many different contractors and design disciplines feed into the finished result. Therefore, the ability to see and interact with the work of these collaborators is vital.
Importing DWG Files
Despite the large presence of Vectorworks in the entertainment sector, the DWG file format used by AutoCAD is still dominant for the exchange of CAD drawings. It is therefore very important that a designer can work with these drawings if required.
Import DWG Command
The Import DWG command will partially automate the process of converting DWG geometry into a usable Vectorworks geometry
Import PDF command
PDF files are generally a combination of images and text that can be manipulated and edited to some degree by PDF editing software
